I Want Never Gets... Leopard Print

I've come over all animalistic for this week's lustful posting! For some reason lately I've been hankering after all sorts of leopard print bits and pieces, here are a few from my feline-inspired wishlist..
These funky leopard print sunglasses would update any summer outfit and instantly add a bit of glam! Reasonably priced at £16, if I'm not careful these babies might end up on the end of my nose before you can say "where did you get your shades from?" Linky!
A slight continuation from the hat theme of a couple of weeks ago, this cute leopard print hat isn't something I would ever have the courage to wear myself, but I would definitely get some hat envy if I saw a fabulous female donning it in the street! £25 Linky!
Finally some classic Miss KG platform heels. I really love these shoes - I think if you wore them with a relatively simple outfit, maybe jeans and a blazer or a black plain dress, you could definitely pull off the chic animal print inspired look. But the risk of overdoing it and coming off looking like a 54 year old divorcee with a chain smoking habit and false hair is enough to stop me investing in these beauts. £65 Linky!

The Shoes

I couldn't wait any longer to introduce you to the new love of my life.... these INCREDIBLE wedges!
I fell in love with them around 6 weeks ago on the H&M website, they were £39.99 which I thought was wayyy out of my price range but I loved how designer they look, and how original they were!
I then subscribed to the H&M newsletter and nabbed myself a nifty 20% off one item ordered online... but I decided to wait and see if they had them in store before ordering, to save myself some postage.
They didn't have them in any of the H&Ms I visited on Oxford St, so it was with a heavy heart I returned home & looked them up online, only to find they'd sold out in my size!!!!
Some days later they FINALLY came back into stock, I ordered them & they were delivered on a Saturday while I was out at work (luckily my flatmate was around to receive the delivery) - nicest thing to come home to in the history of the world? I think so!
And here comes the happily ever after part of this love story! They fit a treat, were ridiculously comfy despite probably being the highest shoes I own, and I even managed to wear them out on the first night out I went on after they arrived! I had to dress down so the shoes could stand out and make the outfit all on their own!
Voila! The happiest union there ever was!

Fabulous Nails #1

I am always the first person to admit I'm a little bit crazy about nail varnish. I have dozens of colours & love wearing a fabulous colour - it never fails to boost my mood! I thought it would be nice to regularly share with you some of my favourite nail shades from the past couple of weeks!

First up is this cute summery yellow by Miss Sporty. I'd never used Miss Sporty nail varnishes until I paid a visit to my local Superdrug & they had them on offer - 3 for £4! They have some truly unique shades too! The varnish takes a few coats to build up the colour but I'm sure you'll agree its so summery & worth the effort!

Another Miss Sporty colour I invested in was this lovely turquoise/blue which I fell in love with at first sight! I haven't seen a comparable shade anywhere else & again, enjoy how bright & suitable for Spring the colour is!

Of course no nail post would be complete without a mention of Barry M Nail Effects! I am a HUGE fan of Barry M nail varnishes and I am besotted with the Nail Effects varnish! I used Maybelline Express Finish in this gorgeous silver colour underneath the nail effects paint to create this quite versatile look, which lasted a good 5 days without chipping!

Are you a nail varnish addict like me? What are your favourite nail varnish brands? Have you tried Nail Effects before?
