Oopsy Daisy #2

I was at Westfield with my best friend, with every intention of resisting the urge to buy anything, when I saw a few pieces I just had to have!
I bought these leather-look skinny jeans from New Look for ~£22. I really like the leather legging/jean look but I think you've got to have a very specific type of leg to be able to pull it off. Not convinced mine match that type, I was so happy when I saw these! They're a bit thicker and more structured which I think flatters my legs a bit more. I've already worn them out with shoe boots and a leather jacket - totally loving the rock chick look at the moment!
I picked up this black textured top from H&M for ~£10 I think (but honestly can't remember). I think it'll be one of those really versatile pieces that I come back to time and time again. Already worn it to a gig with high waisted denim shorts but it looks nice with coloured skinnies or tucked into a skirt.
Finally, I am a sucker for a cheap H&M tee! I bought this one for £7.99 and just loved the cute biro-esque design. Simple and easy to wear with anything and everything, so happy I got this!
Have you bought anything you weren't supposed to lately?

I Want Never Gets... Trousers

I've seen some gorgeous trousers/jeans on ASOS lately that I'd personally never have either the legs or the confidence to pull off, but I will happily share my lustings with you!
These cropped light wash denim skinnies are so cute and incredibly flattering on the model, but I can't help but think they'd make me look less than attractive. Still, I'd love to wear them with a band tee or long vest and faux leather jacket on colder summer nights. £30 from ASOS. Linky!
These simple black palazzo pants are so chic, but I just don't have the height or the right body shape to be able to pull off this look. A shame really, as at £40 these trousers are definitely an affordable wardrobe staple for A/W11. Linky!
& last but most certainly not least are these incredibly wet look leopard print leggings. I can't put into words how much I adore these - they're so rock chick! I'd love to have the confidence to wear these (and the slim thighs) but unfortunately I just can't see myself ever daring to wear them out! And at £40 they're a little to expensive to just wear around the house. Sigh. Linky!

Forever in blue (& green!) jeans

Apologies for being too busy to update over the last couple of weeks, I have a whole bundle of lovely posts to make up for it so I hope you can forgive me!

First up - jeans! Although I don't wear jeans that often, I'm definitely one of those girls who dreads her jeans getting too tired & torn, shrinking in the wash or ending up too big, because it inevitably means you have to shop for new ones! My sister is the same, but as we both needed a new pair when she came to visit me last week we headed to Uniqlo on the recommendation of a friend, hoping that this time we wouldn't be made to feel like oversized freaks by the poor sizing & unflattering lighting that haunts every girl who seeks a new pair of denims...

Someone must have been listening, because the first pair we tried on fit us both like a dream & were just what we were looking for! Yes, this does mean that my sister and I now have matching jeans, but as we live ~250miles apart, I don't think it's the end of the world.
They're the 'Perfect Shape' range, and were £29.99 on offer at £19.99 from Uniqlo and fit me like a glove! I've been looking for some decent light wash jeans for about a year, so I'm chuffed to bits I've found these!
As they're a couple of inches too long for me, I decided to turn them up which I think makes them look a lot more casual. Perfect for a cool Spring afternoon!
Also whilst out and about I recently picked up these GORGEOUS pastel green skinnies from TRF at Zara for £19.99! I wasn't even jean shopping at the time, but I couldn't resist impulse purchasing them and I haven't regretted it. I've worn them around 7 times since I bought them. I'm so happy to have found some coloured jeans just in time for the colour blocking trend this season!

How do you find jean shopping? Are there any stores that you steer clear of? Where are your favourite pair of denims from?
