Gatineau Aqua Memory Moisture Replenish Cream-Gel

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I'm reviewing one of the products I received as part of my Gatineau 16 piece little luxuries set (post HERE). This is the Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Cream-Gel*.

Obviously I only received a tiny 15ml sample sized product in the set, however I have been astonished at just how long this product has lasted! I've been using it for months and only now is it running out.

This was a real skincare staple for me in the winter, as it's absolutely fantastic at rehydrating dry, tight skin and providing a bit of a barrier against the wind. I find this formula quite different to anything else I've tried, like the name suggests it is a 'cream-gel' and sinks into the skin really nicely, acting as a perfect base for make up. The product is fragranced slightly, it's a bit of a floral scent but nothing too offensive.

You can see the gel consistency of the moisturiser here. I didn't have any complaints when using this, it didn't break out my skin, it didn't leave me shiny and it worked really well to reduce tightness and dryness throughout the day. My only issue is that it does not contain SPF sun protection, which is something I can be really fussy about, especially in the summer months. If that isn't high on your list of priorities, I definitely recommend you try this.

The Gatineau Aqua Memory Moisture Replenish Cream-Gel retails for £41.52 and you can purchase it HERE.
