If you're anything like me, you're constantly on the hunt for that one concealer that will change the way you feel about your under eye circles. I have genetically bad under eye circles - if yours are bad too the chances are it's genetics and unlikely to be remedied by any magical eye cream (although I live in hope!) This means concealer and make up are the only weapons in my fight against looking like I haven't slept in months. I saw that Soap & Glory had released their Kick Ass Concealer (three piece flaw camouflage kit) and after falling for some of their other cosmetics I snapped it up to try!
This is a pretty photo-heavy post but there are several different aspects of this product that I wanted to capture. The packaging is excellent - I've come to expect this from S&G as they brand everything so well. This concealer comes in a little pot with two different sections - the top part includes a little S&G branded pad and a setting powder to use on the concealer.
In the section underneath is the concealer itself with a mirror (handy!) - you get two shades as shown below:
The consistency of the concealer is really soft and creamy - something I really liked at first because I thought it would be easily blended and would look lovely underneath foundation.

When actually applied to my skin it's almost immediately apparent that this is the wrong shade for my skintone. Although I picked up the lightest shade available, I was really disappointed to find it's far too orange/dark for my pale skin - it just looks orange!

I also found after trialling this for a couple of days that it moves around a bit - no matter how much primer or setting powder I use, it just doesn't stay put in my key problem areas! It also creases like a biatch, which is the worst. I have problems with most concealers creasing but this is the worst I've tried.

Overall, I think you can probably guess that I'm not a fan of this 'Kick Ass Concealer' - it was just wrong for me in so many ways. Perhaps if you have a darker skin tone it might be a nicer match for you (the peach tones do combat the purpley blue tones of under eye circles well) and not look so orange.
That said, I'm not sure I would recommend giving it a go (as I often do with products I don't get on with) as it retails for £10 online HERE or instore in Boots. That's a little too pricey for a concealer that doesn't really do anything for my skin!
